Digital Analysis Corporation has been manufacturing pH neutralization systems for over 15 years. Our environmental division manufactures pH neutralization systems, pH adjustment systems, Acid Wastes Neutralization (AWN) systems, heavy metal reduction systems, fluoride reduction systems and many other turnkey systems to treat industrial waste water effluent streams. This site is dedicated primarily to pH Neutralization / pH Adjustment Systems.
pH Adjustment Systems for Industry
Of all the parameters that are monitored and controlled in industrial effluents, pH is the most common. There are, of course, many other controlled parameters such as heavy metals, TSS, cyanide and toxic anionic species such as Fluorides. pH, however, ranks as the most commonly controlled parameter. Due to the nature of the pH titration curve of water the range that most effluent waters are limited, 6.0 < pH < 9.0, is a very tight band. As a result of this titration curve, using water in an industrial process will often result in a pH that is outside of this band.
Digital Analysis Corp. manufactures pH Adjustment / pH Neutralization systems for any application and any flow. We have systems as small as 300 gallons per day and as large as 72 million gallons per day. We service industries ranging from Metal Plating / Finishing, to Pharmaceutical, Chemical Processing, Semi-Conductor, and many more.
[You will note that we have used pH Neutralization / pH Adjustment together. Actually the two terms are synonymous and we prefer to use pH adjustment only. The term pH Neutralization implies adjusting the pH to a neutral pH, which is a pH of 7.0. Since this is impractical to do in most cases, and given the fact that all industrial discharges are provided range, such as 6.0 < pH < 9.0, we prefer to use the term pH Adjustment. Using pH Adjustment as opposed to pH neutralization, we avoid the implication that the discharge will always occur at a true neutral pH of 7.0]
